Central Ohio Mix 107.9 listeners 21 and over will have 3 opportunities each weekday (Monday – Friday) between Tuesday, 05/30/2023 through Friday, 06/02/2023 and Monday, 06/05/2023 through Friday, 06/09/2023, at 9am, 1pm, and 4pm (“Promotional Period”) to win tickets for an exclusive Mix Music Lounge with Brent Smith and Zach Myers of Shinedown. To win, listeners must hear the “cue to call” from Brent Smith of Shinedown and respond by being caller number nine (9) at 614-542-1079 sometime in the morning between 9am-10am, Midday between 1pm-2pm, or Afternoon between 4pm-5pm. Once a listener has won, they are no longer eligible to win again during the remainder of the “promotional period.”
Any attempt by any participant to win more than one time by using same/different identities, or any other methods void that participant’s prize, and that participant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such prizes will be deemed void in Mix 107.9’s sole discretion. No purchase necessary.
The on-air Prize consists of two (2) general admission spots on the Mix 107.9 guest list to attend an exclusive Mix Music Lounge with Brent Smith and Zach Myers of Shinedown on Wednesday, 06/14/2023. The Prize can only be awarded by calling Mix 107.9 at 614-542-1079 after the cue to call is broadcast on-air at 107.9FM in Columbus, OH during the “promotional period.” All daily winners will be contacted by phone to confirm their Prize on their respective winning dates. The concert location will be disclosed to winners when contacted about their Prize. The Prizes hold no value as this event is private and exclusive to Mix 107.9.

Mix 107.9 will also have the chance to win VIP passes and a meet and greet with the artists through the Mix 107.9 Email Club. Contestants must already be a part of the Mix Email Club or sign up for the Mix Email Club at MyMix1079.com no later than Monday, 06/05/2023 to receive the online contest entry link. The Mix Email Club contest entry period ends at 4:00pm, 06/09/2023. The chance to win the VIP passes and the meet and greet will only be available to Mix Email Club members. No purchase is necessary to sign up for the Mix Email Club. Members may opt-out at anytime.
Online contestants must provide their first and last names, email address, street address, date of birth, and telephone number in the online registration form using the link provided through the Mix Email Club promotion. All appropriate information in required fields must be entered correctly and completely or the contestant will be disqualified. One entry per person. Attempting more than the stated entries may disqualify the entrant at Mix 107.9’s sole discretion.
At approximately 4:00pm on Friday, 06/09/2023, five (5) winners will be randomly selected from the Mix 107.9 online pool of entries, and contacted by phone on the same day using the phone number provided in the online entry form. Each winner will receive: one (1) pair of VIP Mix Music Lounge Meet and Greet tickets with reserved seating to see Brent Smith and Zach Myers of Shinedown on Wednesday, 06/14/2023. The event location will be disclosed to the winners when they are contacted by phone to confirm their Prize. Contestants may attempt to win both on-air and online Prizes but will not be eligible to win both Prizes. If a contestant has already won general admission tickets on-air, they are not eligible to win VIP tickets online. If a winner has already won on-air, an alternate winner will be selected randomly until a new eligible winner is chosen and confirmed. This is not a ticketed event. The Prizes hold no value as this event is private and exclusive to Mix 107.9.
We will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes soon after the “promotional period” ends. Winners must reside within the central Ohio listening area of Mix 107.9 as defined at the exclusive discretion of Mix 107.9 management. Mix 107.9’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize and will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if a prize winner(s), for any reason, cannot or decides not to use the prize. The Prizes is not transferrable or redeemable for cash. By entering this contest, contestants understand the nature of the prize they are competing to win. In the event that a prize winner(s) declines acceptance of any of the prizes, an alternate eligible winner will be randomly chosen.
Eligibility:
This is a private Mix 107.9 event. This is not a ticketed event. Tickets are not available for sale. Guests and winners may only gain entry via the Mix 107.9 event guest list.
The winners will be responsible for any incidentals, including but are not limited to food & beverage, parking, ground transportation, etc. This, and all other expenses will be the responsibility of the winners.
For any contest requiring phone entry, contestants must use only the following number unless otherwise specified: 614-542-1079. Mix 107.9 shall have no responsibility for any contestant’s inability or failure to participate, failure to win or claim any prize based on malfunction or difficulties with telephone, cell phone, or any other circumstances to reach said number in any contest beyond Mix 107.9’s control. Due to the nature of our programs that are heard on-line over the internet, or on the Mix 107.9 app, contests may not be heard at all on Mix 107.9. Contests heard on the radio station’s internet audio stream may be slightly delayed from the time the contests are heard on the broadcast station and will be running behind the broadcast signal. Thus, all contests heard on the internet are delayed. This delay can last for as much as 30 seconds or more. This means that when Mix 107.9 contests are played that require a specific caller to telephone the radio station (such as “Caller number 9 when you hear the sound effect”), listeners to the on-line audio stream may be at a disadvantage in participating over those listeners who hear the contests on-air. The person operating the telephone at Mix 107.9 has the final decision as to who is the winning caller.
For any contests involving live performances or events, winners will need to follow all COVID guidelines and protocols put in place by the concert organizer.
Mix 107.9 is not responsible for any event cancellations or reschedules. The meet and greet is solely at the artists’ discretion.
Mix 107.9 contests are open to all eligible central, OH residents 21 or older that have not won anything on Mix 107.9 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of Mix 107.9, Columbus Radio Group, Franklin Communications, Inc, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the Mix 107.9 main studios are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is the current legal guardian.
