ST. PAUL, MINN. – Yoyner Fajardo’s walk-off two-run single in the 11th inning gave the St. Paul Saints a 5-4 win over the Clippers Sunday afternoon.
With the bases loaded and Columbus leading 3-2, Fajardo sent a ground ball to right field, bringing Will Holland and Anthony Prato around to score.
The Clippers had retaken the lead in the top of the inning on Juan Brito’s RBI single.
The Clippers play their first game of the season at home Tuesday. It will be Dime-a-Dog Night when Columbus faces Omaha at 6:15 p.m.
