COLUMBUS – Columbus police are investigating shooting incidents that left two men dead in as many days.
Officers dispatched to Nationwide Children’s Hospital at 10:33 p.m. Monday to investigate a shooting found Larry Edwards suffering from a gunshot wound, Sgt. Michael Smith of the Homicide Unit said.
The 41-year-old Edwards had managed to get to the hospital under his own power after being shot while driving a vehicle in the 400 block of Parsons Avenue but, despite life-saving efforts he died at 11:01 p.m., Smith said.

A 23-year-old man who was found shot in a vehicle on the Southeast Side early Sunday died from his injuries on Monday afternoon.
Deangelo Williams Jr. was found unresponsive in a vehicle which had crashed into several other parked vehicles in the 2400 block of Kimberly Parkway just after 12:45 a.m. Sunday and died at a hospital Monday, Sgt. Dave Harrington of the Homicide Unit said.
