COLUMBUS – Three men are in jail, facing murder and other charges, in connection with a deadly shooting in the parking lot of an East Side after-hours club last month.
Nicholas Wright, 39, and Kyree Bell-Reavish, 25, have been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Dante Gamble, and George Garrett, 29, has been charged with obstruction of justice for harboring a suspect, according to Sgt. Scott LeRoy of the Columbus police Homicide Unit.
Gamble, 39, was apparently leaving the club in the 1000 block of Beechwood Road after it closed down at approximately 5:21 a.m. and was in the parking lot when gunfire erupted and he was struck, according to Sgt. James Marable of the Homicide Unit.
While some of the club’s patrons tried to help Gamble, he died later at Mount Carmel East Hospital.
