Absentee voting begins Wednesday

COLUMBUS – Absentee voting for the March 17 Ohio primary, in-person or by mail, begins February 19

Voters can cast ballots in person through Monday, March 16, 2020, at the Franklin County Board of Elections, 1700 Morse Road during the following hours:

Feb. 19 – March 6
Weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sat. March 7th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
March 9th – 13th
Weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sat, March 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sun., March 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mon. March 16th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Registered voters can view their sample ballot at the Franklin County Board of Elections website.

Voters planning to cast a ballot by mail must request a mail-in ballot by noon on March14th. Applications are available online, at public libraries or by calling the Board of Elections at (614) 525-3470.

Eight Democrats who made Ohio ballots remain in the race.

They include the early front-runners, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, as well as former Vice President Joe Biden; former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg; Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard; Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar; investor/activist Tom Steyer; and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
