COLUMBUS – Buffalo’s Addison Barger broke a 3-3 tie with a two-run home run in the ninth inning to give the Bisons a 5-3 win over the Clippers Saturday at Huntington Park.
Kyle Manzardo and Johnathan Rodriguez gave Columbus a 3-2 lead with back-to-back solo homers in the sixth.
The game-tying homer to right field was Manzardo’s second home run of the game.
Hagen Danner (1-0) struck out two hitters in the eighth for the win.
Zach Pop retired the side in ninth to earn his second save of the season.
