The Ohio State University Department of Athletics announced Wednesday that Marshall had been added to the 20244 schedule and a home game against Western Michigan has been rescheduled.

Marshall will visit Ohio Stadium on Sept. 21, 2024, and the game against Western Michigan has been changed from Sept. 21 to Sept. 7.

Ohio State and Marshall have met twice previously. The Buckeyes needed a Mike Nugent 55-yard field goal as time expired to win, 24-21 in 2004 and OSU defeated Marshall, 45-7, on a Thursday evening in 2010.

The Buckeyes and Broncos of Western Michigan have played once, a 38-12 Ohio State win at Ohio Stadium in 2015.

Ohio State also announced the Buckeyes have added home games against Nevada on Sept. 1, 2029, and Charlotte on Sept. 8, 2029.

The games against Nevada and Charlotte will represent first-time opponents for Ohio State football.
