Goodbye, Columbus
Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord confirmed Monday that he was entering the NCAA transfer portal.
That means the redshirt junior who guided the Buckeyes to an 11-1 record will not be eligible to play in the bowl game.
McCord passed for 3,170 yards and 24 touchdowns while throwing six interceptions in his first season as a starter.
Receiver Julian Fleming also entered the transfer portal and running back Mayan Williams announced his intention to make himself available for the NFL draft.
