COLUMBUS – Whatever may lie in the future with the coming expansion of the Big Ten, at least Ohio State football fans will know who the Buckeyes’ non-conference opponents will be for the next five seasons.

The last of the open non-conference dates on the schedules through the 2028 season were filled Thursday with the addition of home games against New Hampshire Sept. 11, 2027, and Northern Illinois on Sept. 16, 2028.
Ohio State and New Hampshire, head coach Ryan Day’s alma mater, will meet on the gridiron for the first time.
Ohio State’s upcoming nonconference schedules include home-and-home series with Texas in 2025-26 and Alabama in 2027-28.
