COLUMBUS – The Buckeyes’ regular-season finale at Iowa Sunday is likely to be one of the most expensive tickets in women’s college basketball history.
It will be Caitlin Clark’s final home game and she is close to passing the late Pete Maravich as the all-time scorer in NCAA basketball history and the secondary-market seller listed tickets starting at $481 and ranging upward to more than $6,000.
Clark needs 18 points to eclipse Maravich’s mark of 3,667 in what will be her 130th game over four seasons.
Second-ranked Ohio State (25-3, 16-1) has already clinched the Big Ten regular-season conference championship and the top seed in the conference tournament, which begins next week in Minneapolis.
Clark announced on Thursday that she is foregoing her final year of eligibility and will enter the WNBA draft where she is expected to be the top pick by the Indiana Fever.
