COLUMBUS – Six members of a violent crime ring operating on the South Side of Columbus have been indicted on more than 100 felony charges, including murder and human trafficking.
The indictments against the three men and three women (pictured above) on a combined 124 felony charges followed an investigation by the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, according to an announcement from the office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost.
A Franklin County grand jury on Dec. 27 returned indictments against James Dukes-Johnson, 28, of Columbus on 39 felony charges, including aggravated murder, murder and other drug and trafficking-related offenses; Shahee Siler, 38, of Columbus, on charges of aggravated murder, murder, assault and eight other felonies; Michael Anthony Davis, 21, of Columbus, on 38 felony charges, including aggravated murder, murder, and other drug- and prostitution-related crimes.
Sarah Dotson, 33, of Columbus was indicted on 29 charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, trafficking in persons, compelling prostitution and drug possession.
Alexias Carr-Johnson, 28, of Marysville is facing four felony charges, including engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and money laundering, and Tyler Payne, 29, of Columbus has been charged with four felonies, including engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and money laundering.
