COLUMBUS – Police say an 18-year-old woman is facing charges after some marijuana gummies reportedly taken from her purse sickened three children at Fairwood Alternative School last month.
The 7-year-olds were taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital for treatment and Kweli Dixon was charged with child endangering, according to the Columbus police physical abuse unit.
Officers who were notified of a possible accidental drug overdose at 6:58 p.m. March 21 found that while at school the two boys and a girl had likely ingested THC gummies.
Dixon was charged with three counts of child endangering on April 3 by physical abuse unit Det. Brian Wingard and court summons was issued by the Franklin County Municipal Clerk of Courts.
