DeWine, Whitmer place “friendly wager” on OSU-Michigan game

COLUMBUS – Governor Mike DeWine and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer wagered ice cream on the outcome of Saturday’s game between the Buckeyes and their arch-rivals, the Michigan Wolverines.

DeWine has bet peppermint stick, hot cocoa peppermint and cow patty ice cream from Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs, and black raspberry chip ice cream from Graeter’s in Cincinnati.

Whitmer has wagered a gift package of “Maize and Blueberry” ice cream from Zingerman’s Creamery, a cheese and gelato producer and retailer located in Ann Arbor.

The Buckeyes and Wolverines kick off at noon at Michigan Stadium.
