COLUMBUS – Columbus snapped a four-game skid as they took down the Atlanta Vibe in four sets 25-22, 27-29, 25-21, 25-23 on Sunday.
The Fury (5-5) fell behind early in the opening set but battled back to take the 1-0 lead.
The teams went to extra points with the Vibe (9-4 earning a 29-27 win in set two to even the match.
Columbus won the final two sets with Megan Courtney Lush shutting down Atlanta with back-to-back stuff blocks to give the Fury the set and the match.
The Fury’s Reagan Cooper led all hitters with 22 kills and came away with another double-double adding 15 digs.
The Fury will head to Atlanta for a rematch on Wednesday (7:00 p.m.) at Gas South Arena.
