COLUMBUS – Police are looking for a man accused of killing two people in a shootout in a South Side bar over a year ago that left three other people, including the suspect, wounded.
A Franklin County grand jury has indicted Brody Sieber, 39, for two counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault and one count of having weapons while under disability in the deaths of Glen Clark and Nicholas Dowler and the shooting of two other adult victims when a barfight at the Old Landmark Tavern in the 100 block of Rumsey Road exploded in gunfire on August 1, 2022, Sgt. James Marable of the Columbus police Homicide Unit said.
Sieber was also wounded during the incident.
Officers called to the bar at 9:41 p.m. found Clark, 50, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, Marable said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Hamilton Township paramedics.
Four other adult victims, including Sieber and the 34-year-old Dowler to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center where Dowler was pronounced dead later, Marable said.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sieber, whose las known address was on Parsons Avenue, is asked to contact police.
