COLUMBUS – Police are investigating the death of a 40-year-old man who was found on the South Side early Saturday morning.
Norman Peterson was found at 7:10 a.m. by officers dispatched to the 3000 block of Midway Avenue in the Marion-Franklin neighborhood on a report of a suspicious vehicle, Sgt. Edward Powell III of the Columbus police Homicide Unit.
Officers checked the vehicle and found Peterson suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead by Township paramedics arrived at 7:55 a.m., Powell said.
