Tyshawn Jenkins, 19, was arrested after being indicted by a grand jury Wednesday on two charges of murder, as well as felonious assault and possessing a weapon under disability, in the 2022 shooting death of Ayanta Jarmon, Sgt. David Shimberg of the Columbus police homicide unit said.

Jarmon, 18, and a 16-year-old boy were shot during a large party in the 2700 block of Fairwood Avenue on July 29.

A second suspect in a deadly Northeast Side shooting is behind bars after surrendering to police.

Kenneth Baffour turned himself in to police on Thursday and was taken to the Franklin County Jail after arrest warrants were filed for Baffour, 21, and 21-year-old Joseph Mansary in the shooting death of 53-year-old Edgar Romero-Gutierrez on Webster Canyon Court, Sgt. Michael Smith said.

Mansary was arrested on April 29 by Columbus SWAT officers.
