MINNEAPOLIS – Ohio State takes its four-game season-ending winning streak into the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament Thursday.
The 10th-seeded Buckeyes will open the tournament against No. 7-seed Iowa (6:30 p.m./BTN) with the winner advancing to face No. 2 seed Illinois in the quarterfinals.
The Buckeyes are 15-7 in their opening game of the tournament. Ohio State has won four tournament titles, the last of which coming in 2013, and has made nine title game appearances.
Maryland and Penn State won their tournament games on Wednesday.
The 68-team field for the NCAA Tournament will be announced Sunday.
