COLUMBUS – Thousands of riders take to the roadways around central Ohio this weekend for the Pelotonia Ride Weekend.
More than 6,500 cyclists will pedal along new routes ranging from 24 to 184 miles on Saturday and Sunday to raise funds for cancer research.
The event’s opening ceremony, featuring Emmy award-winning, multi-platinum artist Andy Grammer, will take place at McFerson Commons and North Bank Park in the Arena District on Friday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Now in its 15th year, Pelotonia has raised more than $258 million for cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
