Police faced with 2 murder mysteries

COLUMBUS – Columbus police are looking for suspects in two homicides this week.

Officers responding to a report of an unresponsive male in the 1600 Block of Oak Street, near Franklin Park on the East Side, at approximately 8:58 a.m. Tuesday found Clayden McNeil suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, Sgt. E.J. Powell III of the Columbus police Homicide Unit said.

Columbus Division of Fire personnel pronounced the 30-year-old McNeil dead at the scene.

Juan Pablo Aleman was found shot at 10:13 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of Riverview Drive on the Northwest Side, according to Sgt. Eric Pilya.

Aleman, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene.
