COLUMBUS – Police have released the name of a man who was found lying behind a South Linden home last Thursday morning.
Columbus police officers and fire personnel summoned to the area of 1528 E. 26th Avenue at 8:39 a.m. on a report of an unidentified male lying on the ground and possibly not breathing found Johnny Clark, 48, in the rear of the home at 1524 E. 26th Avenue, said Homicide Unit Sgt. Dave Sicilian.
Clark was pronounced dead at the scene, Sicilian said.
No other information is available. The investigation continues.
This is the 23rd homicide in Columbus in 2018.
