Police looking for suspect vehicles in double murder

COLUMBUS – Columbus police are asking for the public’s help identifying the owners of two vehicles tied to a double murder at a downtown night club earlier this month.

The vehicles, a mid-size white sedan and a small SUV, were seen leaving the immediate area after the double homicide outside of the Noir Lounge in the 100 block of W. Cherry Street after Nigel Jackson Jr., 25, and Percell Scott III, 24, were shot to death in the early morning hours of Feb. 5, Sgt. Edward Powell III of the Homicide Unit said.

Anyone with information regarding these vehicles is asked to call the Columbus Police Homicide Unit at (614) 645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at (614) 461-TIPS (8477).

Jackson and Scott were found near the club’s entrance at approximately 1:15 a.m. by officers to a report of gunshots at the club. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene, Powell said.
