  • The load will depart Freedom Way at approximately 9:00am and head east on Tussing Road/State Route 204 to State Route 310
  • It will travel north on State Route 310 to US Route 40 in Etna

The giant payloads arrived by barge on the Ohio River and depart on their journey from a dock near the village of Manchester in Adams County.

Some of the loads are 19 feet wide, 24 feet high and 270 feet long and will take anywhere from eight to 15 days to reach their destinations.

While no official closures or detours are planned, the Ohio Department of Transportation says slow-rolling roadblocks will be necessary and recommends drivers plan ahead for long delays along the route.

Local governments and utility companies have removed or adjusted obstructions along the route such as large overhead signs, traffic signals and utility lines.
