“Super load” No. 2 on its way

COLUMBUS – Another “super load” is on through central Ohio its way from the Ohio River to Hebron.

The massive truckload crawled out of Piketon at approximately 8:00 a.m. Friday morning and will travel through Chillicothe and Commercial Point before stopping at Rickenbacker Parkway.

The truck, which is transporting a combustion chamber to a plastics recycling facility in Hebron, will remain parked on Rickenbacker Parkway until March 23 because of permitting issues with the city of Columbus.

Like the first, which made the same journey last week, this load weighs in at 390,000 pounds, is 200 feet long, 18 feet 3 inches tall, and 18 feet 6 inches wide.
