COLUMBUS – The latest “super load” arrived in Hebron Sunday after making its way through Pickaway, Franklin and Licking counties this weekend.
The convoy is escorting a huge truck which is hauling 549,000-pound kiln to a recycling facility in Hebron.

Eventually, nearly two dozen “super loads” will make their way from a dock on the Ohio River near Manchester in Adams County to Hebron and to the Intel facilities in New Albany (see map).
The sixth and seventh loads are set to leave for New Albany April 15 and 18 and are scheduled to deliver their loads on April 20 and 21.
ODOT has planned the route to make sure the massive truckloads can be accommodated and obstructions along the route, such as large overhead signs, traffic signals, and utility lines, have been adjusted or moved by local governments and utility companies.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers escorting each convoy will make sure emergency traffic will get around rolling roadblock with minimal delay, ODOT officials say.
