COLUMBUS – A man who was being sought in the shooting death of a woman in the New Albany area has been arrested in Virginia.
Ryan Polk was arrested in Springfield, Va., Monday on murder charge and is in the Fairfax County jail, according to Sgt. Michael Smith of the Columbus police Homicide Unit.
Polk, 35, was charged in the fatal shooting of Morgan Bruster, 31, who was found suffering from a gunshot wound in a home in the 7000 block of Stapleton Drive on Feb.23 and pronounced dead at the scene by Plain Township paramedics.
No motive for the shooting was released.
