Teens shot on East Side

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Two teenagers were injured in a shooting on the East Side Thursday night.

Jermaine Jones and Devante Wilson, both 18, and an unidentified 17-year-olsd boy were in the area of Courtright and Refugee Roads just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday when Assault Unit Det. Matthew Grasham says a man got out of got out of a red Chevy Blazer parked outside a nearby carryout and fired several shots from a handgun at them, hitting two of the youngsters.

The two injured victims were listed in stable condition at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds to their buttock area while the third teen was not hurt.
