Who has trouble battling their brain? I’m talking straight up sitting in a fast food parking lot, fighting with yourself over why you should or shouldn’t go in and get something to eat, that will satisfy you momentarily, but you KNOW you will regret later. This happens to me all the time. Here’s what has been a recent change for me, that I have discovered that helped me in winning the battle. Go do things and seek out services that will help keep you accountable!

Right now, I am getting help from two of the most incredible places, The Exercise Coach in Worthington, and Ohio Cryo in Dublin. Let me tell me you about each one of them and how they are helping me.

The Exercise Coach is a strength resistance facility that uses calibrated, computerized equipment to specifically cater and target your needs in building back up your core strength in your body. Now, of course in my younger years, my core strength was not a thought in my mind, because it was awesome! In my wonderful 40’s, I had become a weakling. Out of breath when I walked up stairs, couldn’t lift very much, always sore and tired. I have been visiting The Exercise Coach for a month now, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The best part, IT IS ONLY 20 MINUTES, TWICE A WEEK! Yes, you read that right, 20 minutes, twice a week! But, how can it work in that short of time? I didn’t believe it myself. But here’s the breakdown, okay? 20 minutes/twice a week at The Exercise Coach, equals out to 60 minutes/3-5 times a week! You are using smart resistance vs. dumbbells. You receive real time bio-feedback vs relying on sets and reps, and you can SEE right there on the computer screen your proof of progress vs subjective assessment. I enjoy The Exercise Coach for so many reasons! I was scared to get back into working out, and this has been the BEST place to begin again. The coaches are so friendly, and they really want what is best for you. They push you and encourage you, and again, 20 MINUTES! You give it your all, and the time flies! This is an excellent place for anyone at any age who wants to get back into working out and needs guidance. I am noticing a difference in my clothes already, my mood tremendously, my sleep is better, and I am telling you it is working!! So, WHY would I mess up this progress? WHY would I go and eat crap right after I worked so hard to get in better shape? That’s just it, I am actually thinking this way now, thanks to The Exercise Coach. I want to do better for not only myself, but for them too. Accountability, it’s a beautiful thing…and legit!

Now, let me tell you how Ohio Cryo has tied in so beautifully to this new lifestyle of mine. Sure, you can get whole body cryotherapy at this wonderful establishment, but Ohio Cryo is SO MUCH MORE than that. They have compression therapy, infrared sauna, and Celluma light therapy. They also offer many options for customized facials. But, the two different types of treatments I have been getting have been hand in hand with helping me on my weight loss journey. The first treatment I have been receiving is Cryoskin Therapy. I LOVE THIS TREATMENT. It has been compared to cool-sculpting but let me clear the air on this. It is NOT like cool-sculpting. Cool-sculpting uses a suction technique before they freeze, and to be honest, it hurts. There is NO PAIN with Cryoskin treatments. I am receiving the Cryoskin Toning treatments on my stomach. It utilizes only cold therapy to decrease superficial tissue layers to -2ºC, leading to in an increase in local tissue metabolism and an increase in local blood circulation as well. This process both increases collagen & elastin production, eliminating cellulite, and toning local tissue. I just finished my 2nd treatment, and I have lost 3” in my waist! NOW, let me be clear. I have a LOT of pinch-able fat, let’s face it, you could grab a lot of it! So, I have a lot meaning I would see a more drastic result. AND I am also eating properly and exercising. If this was the ONLY thing you were doing, it may not be so drastic. Well, needless to say, I was super excited about my result! I have quite a few more of these treatments to go too, so I am excited to see how these turn out for me.

Second treatment I am getting done is their BRAND NEW Endosphere treatments! NEW to the United States, and Ohio Cryo was able to receive it first! These treatments are something I look forward to so much throughout the week, and I can’t wait to go and “shave the fat” I like to say! So, it doesn’t REALLY shave your fat, but that’s the best comparison I can use in describing what it feels like! What these treatments REALLY do is drain your lymphatic system, as well as tone and tighten the skin, AND also aids in inflammation. When I have a great workout on Tuesday at The Exercise Coach, but I wake up sore on Wednesday, I know that when I’m done with my Endosphere treatment on Wednesday, the pain will be gone, and it always is. The draining of the lymphatic system is the real important part, because I now it’s working up and moving around all the horrible gunk that I have built up in my system, and it working to get it up and out! I get the complete front and back of my legs done from head to toe, my stomach, the bottoms of my feet (which KILLS me every time because I am beyond ticklish there) and my booty!! And let me tell you, the booty is actually LIFTING, that’s right, that saddle bag is now changing from flat and sad, to hey, you’re butt actually looks MAYBE like your 30, and not 43! And it’s REAL, no lying, it’s LIFTING. I would show you pictures, but Michelle Matthews said I couldn’t show you my booty on the internet! 😊 I just finished my 6th session of Endosphere, and honestly, I don’t know how I would be doing on this journey without the help from Miranda and Ohio Cryo!

So again, when I mention the battle of the mind games with eating bad and messing everything up for myself? These two places helping me to become my best self has really made a difference in my mindset and my ability to say, “you don’t need that damn fast food number 3” or “you don’t need that Chicken Pot Pie”. (Both WILDLY insane in calories, fat, etc. you name it!) Going out and getting help, at facilities like these two places MATTER, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE. At least to me. Why screw all your work up, right?
