Labor Day #1 Party Weekend – Official Contest Rules
Beginning at 12:00am Monday, 08/26/2024, through 11:59pm Monday, 09/2/2024 (“promotional period”), Mix 107.9 (WVMX) listeners 18 and over may register for Mix 107.9’s “#1 Party Weekend Contest” in the online registration form at MyMix1079.com by providing their first and last names, email address, street address, date of birth, telephone number. All appropriate information in required fields must be entered correctly and completely or contestant will be disqualified. One entry per person. No purchase necessary. Attempting more than the stated entries may disqualify the entrant in Mix 107.9’s sole discretion.
On Tuesday, 09/03/2024, One (1) winner will randomly be selected from among all qualified entries by a Mix 107.9 representative and contacted by phone the same day. The winner will receive tickets to the Sunday, October 5th Twenty One Pilots concert, coming to Nationwide Arens – valued at $100 per pair. Winner’s full name and city of residence will be posted on MyMix1079.com and may be shared on Mix 107.9 social media accounts.
Mix 107.9 will make reasonable efforts to award prizes within 30 after winning. To win a prize, the contestant must reside within the listening area of Mix 107.9 as defined at the exclusive discretion of Mix 107.9 management. Mix 107.9’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize and will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if a prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use the prize. By entering this contest, participants understand the nature of the prize they are competing to win. In the event that a prize winner declines acceptance of any of the prizes, an alternate eligible winner will be randomly chosen.
Winners will be responsible for any applicable federal and state taxes as well as all fees associated with the prize. The winners must have a valid state ID and complete an IRS Form W-9 to collect the prize. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash. All other prize components are the responsibility of the winners and their guests, including all applicable state and federal taxes, incidentals, and fees. Incidentals include but are not limited to travel, parking, service charges, food and drink charges, etc. This, and all other expenses will be the responsibility of the winners.
Mix 107.9 contests are open to all eligible central, OH residents 18 or older that have not won anything on Mix 107.9 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of Mix 107.9, Columbus Radio Group, Franklin Communications, Inc, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the Mix 107.9 main studios are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is the current legal guardian.
