Mix 107.9 Music Lounge with The Band Camino – Official Contest Rules
Beginning at 12am E.S.T., Saturday, 10/07/2023, through 11:59pm E.S.T., Wednesday, 10/11/2023 (“promotional period”), Mix 107.9 (WVMX) listeners 18 and over may register on the contest page at MyMix1079.com for the chance to be a part of an exclusive Mix 107.9 Music Lounge featuring The Band Camino at Used Kids Records. Registrants must provide: their first and last names, email address, street address, date of birth, and telephone number in an online registration form. All appropriate information in required fields must be entered correctly and completely or contestant will be disqualified. One entry per person. Any attempts by a participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed during the promotional period by using the same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, different IP addresses, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any online registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void. The winner will be chosen at the sole discretion of Mix 107.9. No purchase necessary.
At approximately 9:00am on Thursday, 10/12/2023, Twenty (20) winners will randomly be selected from all qualified entries by a Mix 107.9 representative and contacted by phone the same day. Each winner and a guest will be placed on Mix 107.9’s guest list to attend an exclusive Mix Music Lounge featuring The Band Camino located at Used Kids Records in Columbus, OH on Monday 10/16/2023 from 11:30am-12:30pm E.S.T. Out of the 20 selected winners, one (1) winner will randomly be upgraded to receive a $100 Used Kids Records gift card and the opportunity to shop for records with The Band Camino from 11:00am-11:15am E.S.T.. The total approximate retail value of the upgraded Prize is $100.00. Each winner’s full name and city of residence will be posted on MyMix1079.com and may be shared on Mix 107.9 social media accounts.
Mix 107.9 will make reasonable efforts to award prizes after a winner is chosen. To win a prize, the contestant must reside within the listening area of Mix 107.9 as defined at the exclusive discretion of Mix 107.9 management. Mix 107.9’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize and will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if a prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use the prize. By entering this contest, participants understand the nature of the prize they are competing to win. In the event that a prize winner declines acceptance of any of the prizes, an alternate eligible winner will be randomly chosen.
Winners will be responsible for any applicable federal and state taxes as well as all fees associated with the prize. The winners must have a valid state ID and complete an IRS Form W-9 to collect the prize. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash. All other prize components are the responsibility of the winners and their guests, including all applicable state and federal taxes, incidentals, and fees. Incidentals include but are not limited to travel, parking, service charges, food and drink charges, etc. This, and all other expenses will be the responsibility of the winners.
For any contests involving tickets to live performances or events, winners will need to follow all COVID guidelines and protocols put in place by the concert organizer.
Mix 107.9 is not responsible for any event cancellations or reschedules. The artist meet & greet is at the sole discretion of the artist and/or record label.
Mix 107.9 contests are open to all eligible central, OH residents or 18 older that have not won anything on Mix 107.9 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of Mix 107.9, Columbus Radio Group, Franklin Communications, Inc, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the Mix 107.9 main studios are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is the current legal guardian.
